About the adventure

Two weeks ago, a starlink satellite collided with an unknown piece of spacejunk that had dipped into low earth orbit. Shortly afterward there was a sharp uptick in global UFO sightings, which all coincided with major heatwaves. Amateur astronomers at the Red Barn Observatory in Georgia have identified the source of the reports to be the same piece of spacejunk, which seems to have significantly expanded and is highly reflective. The private space company Launcherzzz is mounting an investigation of this mysterious satellite, with the most talented astronauts available, You.

How to prepare

Everyone is going to need a discord account and a roll20 account. We will be talking on discord voicechat in my server, a link to which will be provided after you sign up. Rolls, art, and character sheets will all be handled through roll20, the game link will also be made available to you after sign up.

Gameplay details

I mostly play with lines and veils with room for the Luxton technique during play. In plainer English, there are things that make me uncomfortable in play. I don't like viscerally gory scenes or discussing sexual encounters in the game. I draw a line for the gore, violence happens in RPGs, but it is not realistic or particularly gory. And any sexual encounters happen behind a veil, we do not see them, and we do not discuss anything in detail. We just know something happened. The Luxton technique is where, if we encounter something that makes you uncomfortable, we pause for a moment and you tell me what needs to change for you to be comfortable again, and it changes. This particular game will contain references to Nazis in regards to the history of spaceflight, it will also involve typical space-related risks and likely some discussion of climate change. How will character creation work

I will have a handful of pre-made characters ready for anyone who wants one, anyone who wants to build their own character should be on roll20 before session time and we can go through EZ No Math Character Creation.
