About the adventure
Ultimate Student Defense Council is an over-the-top action-comedy game that takes every conceivable anime trope and blends them together at ludicrous speed to create a game that plays like the best anime series you've ever seen. You are students at Tezuka Academy, a prestigious Japanese high school that is a magnet for the strange and exceptional. As members of the Student Defense Council, you are tasked with protecting this school from the many dangers it draws - giant monsters, killer robots, and ninja assassins are all a typical school week here. But you're more than just regular high schoolers - you are mecha pilots, reincarnated sorcerers, monster tamers, escaped experiments, martial artists, or otherwise imbued with main character energy! Your funding and support are nigh-unlimited at this point as you are the first and last line of defense for Tezuka Academy against the strangest threats imaginable. You are the Ultimate Student Defense Council! No matter what comes your way, you won't back down!

Gameplay details
Before session zero, I'll be private messaging all the players one-on-one to discuss Lines & Veils. Our first session will be a free session zero, wherein we will make introductions, review Lines & Veils, and create characters. At the end of every session, I will run through "Roses, Thorns, and Buds", allowing players to present positive and negative feedback about the game along with suggestions to make the game more enjoyable in the future. Bigotry will not be tolerated in this group. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or other prejudiced behaviors will warrant an immediate kick.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen during session zero. Come to the table with a concept based on the following two questions: 1. What student organization is your character the head of? (Captain of the football team? Editor-in-chief of the school newspaper? President of the fashion club?) 2. How is your character weird? (Raised by ninja? Possessed by a thousand year old demon? Alien princess from a planet of cat-people?)
