About me

Role playing games are tremendously fun, to play, to watch, and as I am still discovering, to run. I wish that I had started playing earlier, but it can be an overwhelming hobby to try to get into by yourself. My goal is to build games that are welcoming to new players and that experienced players can still have a good time with, and to foster a welcoming space. RPGs are one of those things that I do think everyone should try at some point. I look forward to hearing from you!

GM Style

My biggest focus is on making the world feel big and real. I like to keep games story focused and driven, and a big part of that to me is making it clear that the world has more things in it than just the players. There are conflicts in the world that are beyond you now, but perhaps some day... I tend to avoid music and intense character voices to make sure that everyone can understand and focus on what's happening. I do still love to do character voices, but I learned early on that my strong Dwarven accents can be incomprehensible to players. I'm generally ready for players 15 - 30 minutes before scheduled start times, and I have a 10 - 15 minute wait after start time for late players.
