About the adventure

Phandalin is a town on the mend. After destruction at the hands of raiders, the city of Neverwinter invested gold, resources, and lives into the town’s resurrection. All seems well until the white dragon Cryovain invaded Icespire Hold driving out the resident orcs. Unhappy orcs without shelter is never an ingredient for a safe and prosperous countryside. As the orchish diaspora wreaks havoc across the region, Neverwinter sends the call to adventurers. Secure the safety of Phandalin against the orchish horde! Drive out the dragon! The safety and prosperity of Phandalin is on the line!

How to prepare

You will need a good mic—preferably a headset. We will handle audio through Discord and character creation through Discord. We will roll dice rolls during the game through Owlbear Rodeo. You will not need to download anything for Owlbear Rodeo. I will send the link through Discord. A laptop or desktop is best. Tablets will likely work; smartphones are not advised. You will need your own copies of the sourcebooks, but I am more than happy to guide you through character options. Also, please send an image or your character for me to make a token.

How will character creation work

Players may use the Player’s Handbook, Xanathar’s Guide to Everything, Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Van Richten’s Guide to Raveloft, Volo’s Guide to Monsters, and the Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide for source material. I am open to other sources, but we should talk about it. We will roll for stats in Discord. If you choose, you can also use standard array or point buy. We will meet for a session 0 to discuss what you would like to have in this adventure and why you would like to play.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
