About the adventure
The Call starts with a fun festival and an opening dungeon in a dreamy riverside trade town. A call for help awaits you, and you may not be the only one it reaches out to. There are LARGE sandbox elements between each chapter! Travel through a fantasy valley of towns and campsites and get immersed in a crown city as you race your rivals. This campaign is character-driven! Your backstory can redefine the whole story, and in-between story beats you can choose to pass a day in town, race ahead, help a curious stranger, or take an odd job that leads to a whole full-blown side adventure. Combat is tough and tactical, exploration and mystery are key pillars, and who you are can change everything. There will be plenty of jokes and puns along the way. But, above all that, this is a game for you to really get in character, roleplay, and create a story and place for your character in this magical tale.
This game starts at level 3 and you can use either 2014 or 2024 characters. Session 0 and the campaign specific Discord channel will be scheduled when we have enough players. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. A general Discord link will be sent when you sign up.

What I provide
Music, Discord, D&D Beyond, digital maps & tokens, virtual tabletop. I run an immersive, roleplay-driven game with voice-acted NPCs who have clear goals and conflicts. Attention to detail can reveal advantages for your party. The story unfolds dynamically, shaped by your choices and their ripple effects. Combat is challenging and tactical, with cinematic moments and opportunities to push your character’s limits. I also bring bonus content - custom adventures, published modules, side quests, dungeons, random happenings, and more.
Gameplay details
I have a discord channel for the game. I have an anonymous Google Docs for lines and veils. I have more campaign information pinned in the game. You'll get links to everything when you join. I usually run this campaign for 50-100 sessions and end at level 14.

How will character creation work
Level 3, point-buy or standard array. There will be time for character creation at the end of session 0 and the week before session 1. Character sheets will be on DND Beyond or you can keep your own. All official sources are approved, other content optional.
