Summer is great for vacations, but bad for TTRPG campaigns. Scheduling becomes an even greater foe as everyone is out of town, has more childcare commitments, or would just rather be outside. But that just means it’s time to try a new game!
Onyx Path has many wonderful RPGS in all kinds of genres, ranging from classic fantasy goodness to creepypasta-inspired horror. And StartPlaying’s professional Game Masters are offering more sessions than ever during Onyx Path Game Night!
Or maybe we should say Onyx Path Weekend, since GMs will be running special sessions from July 25-28. They’ll guide you through Learn-to-Play one-shots, introduce you to creative new settings, and welcome you into their long-running campaigns with trusted players. Just head over to the Onyx Path event page to find sessions with open seats – hurry, some are already filling up! The spotlighted games for July Onyx Path Game Night are:
- Realms of Pugmire: Uphold a code of loyalty in a fantasy-ish world where dogs rule! Become a heroic good boy and quest for lost artifacts from the Ages of Man, just watch out for cats from the distant kingdoms.
- Curseborne: Indulge your dark urges in as a monster in the modern day. You can take on the role of iconic creatures like vampires or play to more current horror fads like creepypasta and found footage.
- Trinity Continuum: In the far future, gods and monsters proved real and almost destroyed humanity. Now in the 22nd century, you can wield psionic powers to fight back. New flexible mechanics let you jump into the action fast and take the battle to the stars.
- World Below: A darker take on fantasy dungeon crawls, where the treasures you find are crucial to your survival. Mixing elements of survival, base building, horror, and legacy gameplay, World Below will challenge you for as many sessions as you want.
Some GMs are also running Onyx Path favorites like Scion and Exalted, so check out the event page for the most up-to-date listings. Let everyone else sweat outside – park yourself in a nice air conditioned room and try out a new Onyx Path TTRPG. Your new favorite game could be just around the corner!
