About the adventure

The dragon Sharruth once rampaged up and down the Sword Coast, creating destruction and havoc for the citizens of Faerûn. Legend says that three dragons joined forces to stop Sharruth, saving Faerûn and creating the Stormwreck Isles. You, our adventurers, must now aid Runara, the leader of Dragons Rest, in ensuring the peace and safety of those living within the Isles. This campaign is intended for new and beginning players to D&D. Players will begin at level 1 and progress through level 4 by the end of the campaign. This is the perfect opportunity to learn D&D, to take a step up from previous experience in one-off games, and start your journey!

How to prepare

Players will ned a mic, and a device that can access the internet in order to use D&D Beyond. It would be best of this device were to be a computer of some kind, as sizing, access to D&D Beyond Maps, etc. works best on a computer over a phone or other mobile device.

What I provide

I will bring content from D&D Beyond for all players! I try to make my games enjoyable for all players at the table, and incorporating all players, ideas, and goals into the story told at the table. Especially hoping to work with newer players and introducing folks to DND, my goal is to explain rules, characters, spells, abilities, and skills with the most information possible to encourage players to explore their own characters and actions.

How will character creation work

This campaign comes with pre-made characters for ease of use for players and entry into the D&D world. We will select characters as a group during Session 0 to ensure all members of the party can select a character they are interested in. We will then take time in Session 0 for everyone to review their character, character sheet in D&D Beyond, skills, spells, class, etc.
