Beware the Waters, Our River Lives

They go out of their way to make a safe and fun environment for all players and work in game mechanics that give players agency over their world and the kind of story that they want to tell. Playing with them is a delightful experience.

Moon is such a wonderful GM -- so welcoming of chaos, but willing to reign it in when it gets too out of hand. Always down for out of the box decision-making and incredibly respectfully of player agency. Moon is an incredibly creative storyteller and I always look forward to our next story beat. As a first-time player, Moon has been such a generous, thoughtful, and supportive DM. Not only are our sessions captivating and FUN because of the story they've laid out before us, but they also allow us so much room to learn, grow, and experiment as players. I have learned so much not only about the game itself but also about how to find my groove within it, thanks to their patience and creativity. I cannot recommend Moon's games enough! You'll have a blast.

Moon is an incredible dm, there's no other way to describe it. They have been extremely welcoming and patient for those of us more green with TTRPGs, providing ample space for us to learn and be creative while making sure the game remains enjoyable for all. Truly collaborative and open communication the whole way through. Their worlds are beautifully crafted and they make sincere efforts to weave player characters and ideas in at every opportunity. And their story telling ability/skill is simply inspiring and so much fun to be involved in. Whether it's your first campaign or your millionth, I can only give them my highest recommendation.

There is so much good about playing with Moon. One of the coolest things is that we all play in a shared world and we all play in the same discord server. We have private channels, but also public ones so we can see what kinds of characters and islands other groups have. It feels like summer camp, and Moon attracts the coolest people so everyone here is lovely and welcoming. On TOP of that, Moon really cares about making your character feel seen. They have managed to weave our disparate backstories into such a beautiful conflict(/pos) that everybody has stakes in. There is also private and public check in methods post each session so that if for whatever reason you are not having a good time, you have a way to let them know. I could go on and on about how lovely this experience has been. Join a game! Pinky promise its worth it🖤
