Spore War
The War of Spores comes to Kyonin!
About the adventure
The demon Treerazer has long lurked in the wretched expanse of Tanglebriar, just south of the elven nation of Kyonin. Long ago, he tried to claim the nation as his own, but the elves pushed back and contained him. Today, many believe Treerazer to be exiled, trapped, imprisoned, or simply cowardly hunkering down in the swamp, afraid to attract attention or to trigger elven wrath once more. Those who believe this are about to learn just how dangerously wrong they are.

About me
I have been playing TTRPGs since high school, and introduced many friends to the hobby through college. For the last 7 years, most of my DMing practice came from a Living campaign, running over a hundred sessions online for dozens of individuals. I am a creative individual, with experience improvising in response to player nonsense (possibly the best part of any game) who enjoys seeing more off-the-wall character concepts. While I make an effort to keep things balanced, I prefer to err in the side of player enjoyment. I am a trans woman, and the only people not welcome at my table are those who take issue with the existence of others. I am open to running any time, any day but Saturdays (which are my day to act as a player). If you have a particular adventure you want to play, drop me a message and I can put it on my schedule. Fastest response will be given over Discord, StartPlaying doesn't notify me when i get a message through the site. Vhaidara#2489. If you see a game on my schedule with no players in it, I am perfectly willing to modify the game or the time to match with a new group, think of those more as proposals

Vhaidara is an excellent GM. The vibe you hope for at tables is everyone laughing and having fun. I have now played several games with her and that has been the overwhelming vibe. Yes we are role playing, but we are having fun. If you want that serious game where everything is taken seriously, then I don't want to play with you. TTRPG is a form of play and it is supposed to be fun. You can feel all sorts of ways and do all sorts of things but if your not having fun, then why are you playing. Every session with Vhaidara has been filled with giggles and laughs according to lines and antics that those playing pull. I create interesting characters and play them. Vhaidara not only worked with that but created a deeper hook into the game. She also had rule changes for what she felt was not working in PF2E. No system is perfect and identifying issues and addressing them are the signs of a GM that not only knows the rules, but is trying to adjust them for a better experience. In the latest session I played with her, I watched her teach a 5E player how to play PF2E and how the action economy was vastly different. She did it calmly and with grace, explaining the various options that player had while they played and giving them a chance to change their actions based on their new understanding of the rules. This is a an excellent way to introduce new players to a new system and let them have a good time. I think a session with her is worth the money you spend. I think that is the highest recommendation I can give someone on this app.
Vhaidara is an amazing and terrific GM. She welcomed my wife and I to the game (actually found players for the game when we signed up which was amazing!) and helped teach the rules and system to my wife and I. She is amazingly patient as well as we have 4 kids and randomly are needed by them which she understands, as well as being understanding and giving us time when my service dog suddenly passed away, always checking in on me and seeing how I was holding up through the grieving process. I cant express how fortunate we feel to have found such an amazing, friendly, and fun GM to play with. We love playing in her games and we are hoping to join more in the future.
Expert understanding of the rules and game system. Puts in the time before session to review the monster abilities to make sure fights are challenging but also not bogged down by having to look up effects. Very good at "reading the room" in terms of deciding when to let players roleplay and when to push them towards the next objective
Vhaidara is a fantastic GM. This was only the 2nd time I had played PF2E and she was fantastic in smoothing over any of the bumps being a new player may bring. She really works with you to create a fantastic experience and goes out of her way to foster a safe, fun, and exciting atmosphere! Would highly recommend.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a working microphone and internet. Having a computer is optimal, but I've worked around players who need to function from a phone before, and it's doable, though not the ideal experience for most people.
What Vhaidara brings to the table
I will bring my foundry server, as well as several years of GMing experience and improv talents. I tend to use a mixture of Rules as Written and Rule of Cool. The rules are a great baseline, but cannot account for everything.
