A Curse of Strahd Story: The Broken Sigil [New Players Welcome]
Far to the east lies the land of Arova, and within its dark forests lie horrors more ancient than any country of man...
About the adventure
100 years ago, following a bloody war, Strahd von Zarovch was slain at the hands of Isolde Morvwen. Since then, Arova saw a twilight peace. Yet in a land shrouded in perpetual darkness, where monstrous creatures stalk the night and even the earth itself is twisted by foul blood magic, can there ever truly be peace? The Broken Sigil, a once-renowned monster hunting conclave, lies in tatters. Haunted by past tragedies and burdened by a fractured legacy. Perhaps you are unlucky recruits, hardened veterans, something else entirely. Only one thing is certain, you are among the few remaining hunters of the Broken Sigil, and you might very well be its last… ______________________________________________________________________ This adventure is a loose follow-up to the events of Curse of Strahd in a completely fresh homebrew setting! 100 years after the death of Strahd, the lands of Arova are once again under threat. Will you overcome the darkness, or fall to it?

About me
Greeting Adventurers, I’m Sean, I'm 25 years old and living in Canada currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Engineering. I've been a GM for almost a decade now and have been playing D&D even longer. I've always been inspired to transform the fleeting ideas in my head into stories, and the best way I've found to do that is playing D&D with all manner of people. The worlds I've crafted area product of years of work and love rolled into adventures that are uniqely mine. I hope you'll join me in many adventures to come!

I joined Sean's table at the start of a campaign and would definitely recommend! I'm 7 sessions into his Descent into Avernus campaign and I'm loving it. He takes his time to paint a really good picture, tells a great story, and embraces the inherent humor in the game. A special callout to his ability to craft engaging and meaningful checks for crazy player ideas. Whether it be using a Minor Illusion or a crazy party-wide plan, he manages to find creative ways of incorporating ability checks beyond simple flat rolls so that everything feels high-stakes but possible to overcome. It's been a smooth ride so far and I'm looking forward to many more sessions!
Sean has been a great DM making players feel included. Giving every character a tie in to the story as well as little information only their characters would know allowing each player the opportunity to shine. If you're looking for a good and reliable game this is the DM for you.
I've played in person, but never online before. Sean has been great about timely communication, and giving help outside of sessions. I joined in on a campaign that was already underway, but Sean was able to seamlessly blend my character into the overall story. Would definitely recommend Sean to anyone wanting to get into online D&D!
Sean is a fantastic Game Master, who knows how to weave the threads of destiny around the heroes in a remarkable fashion. He is helpful, kind and excellent in every setting. He creates a tale best told by the intrepid adventurers and keeps them coming back for more. With lovely voice work, eloquent world descriptions, and engaging PC characters, you can't ask for anything better in mood setting. As a beginner, I never felt left behind in gameplay, and even veterans enjoyed the gameplay. I rated him 5 and I still feel I would rate him 10/5.
