Fifteen days you spent on that ship, but now you're here. You're here, listening to Mayor Vinton give a speech to the settlement. Standing in the crowd, you're surrounded by people of all types; those who came here to start a new life, those whose old lives ended, and those who wish to preserve Father Doime, their homeland. Mayor Vinton celebrates the good fortune of the settlers, who neither tempest nor kraken harried on the voyage over. He finishes his speech, showing off a clockwork vehicle modified to chop lumber; the settlement will need homes. Fifteen days are over. They can settle down; you're here to adventure.

Creating your character
I prefer physical character sheets but digital is also an option. Characters will be created at session 0. Level 1 is the starting character level. We will work together to create characters that fit the world, inter-party connections will be strongly encouraged! Have a few character ideas in mind, but no need to roll stats beforehand.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A working microphone is required. We will discuss in session 0 whether or not we will use webcams and physical dice, digital dice, or a mix of the two. I know what the NPC's and monsters do, and when we start the game I'll know what your character does, but later on, it will be important to remember your own capabilities.
What Adin brings to the table
I will create a campaign Discord and provide setting details to aid in character creation. If additional resources are required, I'll do my best to acquire them.

How Adin creates a safe table
Players can expect to establish characters in a new continent, becoming important adventurers throughout their careers. Feel free to ask for homebrew while creating your character. Swamp exploration and town building are both important, but if you don't want to do it then NPCs can handle themselves...sometimes. Generally, at the start of each session, the group will do a "session recap" of the last session. I use plot points for players so that you can alter the world and spice up the story. Strong focus on simulationist worldbuilding, so the players can impact the world in engaging and interesting ways. Open to new players!
