About the adventure
In the faraway world of Everden, on the eastern coast of a great continent, lies a vast forest nestled between the mountains and the sea. This is the Humblewood, an ancient and magical place that hums an endless song, sung to the Great Rhythm of life and death. The woods is not like any other forest, the trees are old and powerful, reaching as tall as mountains, familiar bests grow to unusual sizes, and the reign is home to groups of animal-like humanoids called humblefolk and birdfolk. This west march styled campaign is a series of mostly one off adventures in the titular setting, with a larger overarching story between sessions. This combines the main events of the humblewood story with the additional adventures of humblewood tales. Join a group of adventurers on a quest, be it to stop ancient evils, hunt dangerous monsters, fend of traitorous bandits or explore the mystical land of Humblewood. With drop in and drop out style play, players may choose to join a session whenever they have the time

About me
Hello there, I'm a game dev with a passion for DND. I’ve been playing 5e for 3 years and DMing for 2. I'm currently looking to run some fun one shots, making some unique encounters and getting to use some interesting monsters that wouldn't fit into my main campaign.

Creating your character
I will try to set up a one on one meeting pre session to go over character creation and how they're backstories can influence the world and be integrated into the setting. Stats: roll for stats (if unlucky you can swap to point buy) Species: setting specific options are encouraged, but if you want to go with something else we can make it work character/class options: All published material from either legacy or 2024 rules (any homebrew/3rd party material is permitted if cleared by me pre session) Free feat: if your background doesn't already give u a free feat HP: Average (following will update depending on session) Level: Items: standard + 2 common and 2 uncommon magic item
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- A mic (webcam is optional) - A Discord Account - A Roll20 account - A character sheet (roll 20, dnd beyond, or any other format is fine)
What Josh brings to the table
I will be providing the adventure module as well as giving access for any setting specific character creation, background or gear options I will host the Roll20 game for battle maps as well as a sync tube for ambient music. I do voices for the various NPCs that you will encounter along the way. I am also able to provide access to additional 3rd party material such as ryokos guide, sunken isles and fools gold for character creation. As a default, I will run with the Rule of Cool in RP and exploration scenarios, as well as in combat so long as it presents no significant mechanical imbalance
