Andy runs a fun game and wonderful community! He takes the time to let every player's character breathe and makes the space for them to "X-press" themselves (X-puns galore). His Discord server, the Academy X, brings together a lively group of mutant-loving role-players who are all around delightful nerds. You can connect with other players and live your best mutant life, even in-between games. Activate your sass gene, supercharge you favorite memes, and join Andy's world of student mutant superheroes!
I took the GM webinar on optimizing game listing and learned a lot. Matt offer some excellent insights into marketing on SPG and marketing oneself in general. He critiqued on of my game listings and gave me some excellent advice to improve. He has a genuinely warm and encouraging presence and fosters a open and comfortable atmosphere. I'll be implementing what I learned. Thanks!
I took Salman's GM webinar and not only learned a lot, but had a great time! Salman delivers the fundamentals (as well as some helpful tips) about improv, voice acting, and roleplaying compelling NPCs. He delivers an organized presentation, complete with group exercises and Q&A, with a laid-back, kind, and enthusiastic style. I've been doing improv for a long time and walked away with some great learnings. Highly recommend!
I took the "Audio is Everything" workshop and WOW did I get a lot out of it. As an somewhat new DM here on SPG, I have been looking for a way to up my audio game and this course was awesome! Admiral walked us through each aspect of how to replicate his very technical setup and personalized the lesson to his participants. Not only did he include content based on my interest, he even reviewed the unique aspects of my particular microphone make and model. I felt like I was tapping into the expertise of an experienced audio engineer every time I asked a question. Not only did he thoroughly and thoughtfully answer every question I asked, he made highly technical concepts seem accessible and highlighted the important things to remember. He even offered extra tips for the specific project I am working towards. I learned so much from Admiral and enjoyed my time to boot. He a real GM's GM. I can't recommend him highly enough!
