About me

Hey there, Adventurers! I'm Paladin - professional Game Master, owner of Paladin's Archives, and current world record holder for longest continuous TTRPG session (440.5 hours). I've built my entire career around creating exceptional D&D experiences. I self-publish adventures, stream on Twitch, and run professional games that players remember years later. This isn't a side hobby - it's my passion turned profession. I live and breathe Foundry VTT. I created my own custom database system that makes character creation lightning-fast and seamless. Expect cinematic lighting, perfectly timed ambient music, and automations that handle the mechanics so we can focus on the story. No fumbling with tech when we should be having epic moments. I also created my own system on Notion to enhance the experience and leave more time for doing what we love. I craft experiences, not just sessions. Every NPC has deep lore and purpose. Every story arc connects meaningfully. I focus heavily on the relationships between characters and the ongoing narrative threads that make campaigns memorable. My games balance tactical combat with rich roleplay. Whether you're completely new to D&D or a seasoned veteran, you'll find challenge, growth, and stories worth telling. I teach new players patiently and give veterans the depth they crave. Feel free to reach out to on Discord: gamemasterpaladin

GM Style

I enjoy many playstyles from the nitty gritty survival dungeon crawl with lots of rules to games that are very rules light with majority of the session being roleplay. For monsters and NPCs, I favor adding a lot of lore to their ecology and using voices voices when roleplaying. I am a strong supporter of being more or less strict with rules depending what the situation calls for. If the rules or the VTT are getting in the way of our capability to play and have fun, then I'll set those down and can switch to doing theater of the mind or make up rules on the spot to keep the game going. I love using Foundry as it allows a lot of automation for combat, easy tracking and sharing of inventory, and use the playlist function for lots of ambient background and battle music. The games I run are all open world with all my games currently connected in the same shared world with the other players thus making it a West Marches. I love having new players join my table, and am very easy and slow to ensure players can learn the rules to play! I will teach you how to use Foundry as well as the basic rules for D&D. I never pull punches when it comes to combat, but I do ensure to play the monsters accurately to their lore and stats. I do give newer players more freedom to change their mind in combat. I do love very strategic combat though and enjoy having groups that allow me to strategize highly in combat. I slowly add variant rules such as flanking, shoving, shove aside, etc throughout the game as the player characters level up. I also love giving the players rewards others than magic items such as renown, pets, travel, portals, etc., but I'll still ensure to give gold with magic items being buyable in game. When it comes to combat, I do my best to create engaging fights and modulate as needed for the sake of fun, simplicity, or increased tension as needed.
