Sarah is an amazing DM who's has crafted an incredible and fleshed out narrative for our Vampire: The Masquerade game! I haven't done too many social intrigue games, and the ones I have done I couldn't really sink my teeth into (pun fully intended). But I've enjoyed this game so much I find myself wishing I could play it every Saturday! Sarah rewards fun rp and makes really fun NPCs that are fun to hate or fun to love, and I've said fun so much because it's all just so FUN. I'm really happy to be playing a character who likes to do research, because my downtimes often unearths more lore. And the lore is delicious! All the ways NPCs connect together is such a fun little puzzle to solve, and Sarah absolutely rewards curiosity. A strength of Sarah's as a DM is how collaborative this story feels. She takes our chaos and makes it a feature, flexible and quick with what we throw at her. She throws it right back and it's always a good time.
Dylan is a wonderful and friendly DM who's cultivated an incredible environment within his discord group, making it a very welcoming place. He goes above and beyond not only running so many different games, but encouraging play by post interactions for character bonding outside of normal paid game time. I cut my teeth on pbp style games, so it's so nice to have that option as well. I was very anxious when I decided to take the leap and join an online game with complete strangers for the first time, and I think I'm very lucky to have found not only an amazing DM but a server with many welcoming people! If I could join more games I would, Dylan DM's a diverse spread of games and is always open to suggestions for ones to run! I have to shout out the Cyberpunk Red games the most. Dylan has several CPRed games running at the same time, and they're all in the same universe. Seeing or hearing news pieces on other groups jobs makes Night City feel so alive, and I love it!
We just finished our Age of Umbra campaign, and it was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Graham is a DM that is here for collaboration, always open to bounce character ideas and cool moments while keeping it grounded in the game mechanics. I have been playing ttrpgs for almost 15 years, and this campaign was by far my favorite because of the collaborative storytelling that Graham encourages. A wonderful DM, I will absolutely be keeping my eyes out for another campaign ran by him. Thank you so much for the story, may the Dawning Age shine bright in the day and rest gently in the night til the end of days!
