I became a GM because
friends asked me to, then I fell in love with it! I always prefer running the game over playing. I sincerely enjoy giving players hero moments and want you to succeed.
My favorite shows/movies are
Legend of Vox Machina, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Brooklyn 99
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing video games (Soulsbornes are my favourite genre), or at my local gaming pub, the Dice Tower. I regularly volunteer to run TTRPGs there too.
How Graham Day runs games
Strong improv skills. I enjoy getting players to contribute to narrative details. Your decisions matter! I tend to run combat heavy games, though have also run sessions of pure roleplay without a single dice rolled. I'll run the game you want in the system you want.

I prep by
keeping it minimal. I rely heavily on improvisation so I can work with the players to create the story that involves them the most. I want to see your story come to life.
My games focus on...
tactical and interesting combat with many ways to engage. Will you annihilate your opponent or intimidate them into surrender? Will you run to live another day, or lure them into a trap? It's up to you!
Rules are...
to be followed as long as they make the game fun. It's important to follow the rules as much as possible so everyone knows what to expect from the game. That said, if breaking the rule is more fun in the moment, lets see what we can do!
Graham Day's ideal table
My tables are collaborative, accessible, and fun. Players are included in the story. I have no idea what the story will be until we play it together! Players who approach the game in good faith, and want to work together to create an interesting story will have a great time at my table. Knowledge of the rules is great but not required; I'll be happy to teach you as long as you are open to learning.

I love it when a player
gets involved in world building, providing suggestions on NPC names and personality traits, or cities and countries. This is your story too: lets work together on it!
I think it's a red flag when players...
are racist, transphobic, or in any way discriminatory. I am a proud supporter of LGBT+ communities as well as neurodiverse people and people of any heritages. Come to my table with an open mind and in good faith and we'll have a great time.
I think min/maxing...
isn't necessary to have a good time. Make the character that is interesting to you, rather than what a video on Youtube told you is the 'best'. Lets make a great story together, rather than try and 'win'.
