I enjoyed playing at DM Anna's table. The group of players were also great players and role-playing was fun and engaging. It really felt like the group knew each other well and people played with courtesy and consideration for others in the group. DM Anna runs a no mess no fuss table, and they are very fair and balanced in terms of rules and flavouring things for fun. Highly recommend!

Chris is a thoughtful and engaging DM who excels at both storytelling and game management. As a player, you can expect a smooth onboarding experience—he introduces important details at just the right moments, keeping things immersive without overwhelming anyone. His preparation is top-notch, and he runs his sessions with a strong sense of pacing, which is especially impressive in a high-level campaign. Chris strikes a great balance between roleplay and combat, allowing space for character moments while keeping the action dynamic. He is also one of the DMs I have seen who implements the Rule of Cool proactively in his games. His integration of Bastions into the narrative is seamless and adds real depth to the world. Playing in one of his games is both rewarding and memorable.

I played in one of Gaige's epic campaigns from Jan - Oct 2024. I only left the campaign due to schedule changes which affected the start time and frequency of the sessions. But that aside, Gaige's games are immensely enjoyable and well-crafted. Especially the world-building aspects are done in such a way that it feels real and alive and there are consequences to the choices you take as a player and as a group. So there are very good reasons to be keeping notes and his games encourage players to think and strategize properly, which is incredibly fun and brings the group of players closer together. I actually felt a part of something greater than myself, and a part of the campaign world, which is not an easy thing to achieve in a DND game. I did have communication issues in the sessions and struggled at times to be heard, but I spoke with Gaige about this and improvements were made. He is a responsive and reasonable GM and allows for player creativity and fun. Another plus point is that he commissioned maps to be made for us, which were utterly beautiful and theme-appropriate. If you want a camapaign you can get lost in as a player, and feel like you are a part of something, definitely join one of Gaige's games.

I was a player for just the last four months of a campaign (Aug - Dec 2024) and was therefore couldnt get as invested in the wider story arcs as some of the other long-term players. Also, due to the adoption of the 2024 PHB, I could not continue playing with the original character I had. So for these reasons, my experience wasnt all that involved in the campaign and not much could be done about that that late into the campaign. Having said that, I stayed because firstly the group was easy to play with and secondly Lollo is extremely passionate and dedicated to his games. I could see that he had carefully crafted a wider campaign story which the other players were really invested in and enjoyed. He also weaves brilliant NPC characters and narratives into his sessions, and you can really get a taste for the world that he creates for you. He uses appropriate and beautiful maps, most of which are animated. Moreover, during the transition from 2014 PHB to 2024 PHB rule system, he dedicated many hours of his time to mastering the VTT and related changes and took time every session to ensure we had functional sheets, and if there were any issues pending, I would reliably find solutions to them before next session. Lollo also ensures he is well-prepared for his sessions. He is attentive to each player and he is capable of creating meaningful and challenging encounters for all player types and classes so you never feel that you are bored. I woulud advise anyone playing with Lollo to pay attention to story details and take notes, as that will enhance your player experience. I am looking forward to playing in more of his campaigns, especially one from start to finish!
