I've been gone from DND since the late 90's and as a new again player, Nikola is honestly great. Great scene and character descriptions, interesting and engaging combat situations in ways you're not expecting, eager to take and give constructive criticisms, adept at setting and eliciting the intended mood and emotional response, fair with in game rulings, and most importantly, an engaging and talented storyteller. It's only been about 6 seasons but I've genuinely enjoyed each as much as the previous. And for distinctly new reasons each time. I absolutely recommend him for your game.

First time playing a campaign in a couple of years, enjoying myself a lot and looking forward to the weekly sessions. I appreciate how Richard encourages ideas from the players (in worldbuilding and mechanically), how he creates dynamic and challenging encounters, and how he gives inspiration for making him laugh. It is a fun and inclusive environment, would recommend!

Nicola is an amazing DM! He certainly is able to make Curse of Strahd to new highs in horror with great voicing and story telling to give you goosebumps as you play the game! Or having the hair on the back of your neck standup. ;) He keeps the pace of the game moving well and ensures everyone is having fun. Keep up the great work Nicola!

Nicola is incredible! I’ve been playing in one of his games for a few months now, and it’s been an absolute blast. His homebrew world is rich with lore, amazing NPCs, and nods to past PCs who’ve shaped the world’s history. As a newer D&D player, Nicola has been so patient and helpful, making it easy to learn the game while keeping things engaging and immersive.
