About me

I am a long-time DM/GM/Storyteller and player since the mid-'90s. I have run a variety of games over the years both tabletop and online from Palladium Fantasy, Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, Word of Darkness with Werewolf the Apocalypse and Changeling the Dreaming, new Chronicles of Darkness for Hunter the Vigil and Changeling the Lost, and of course, D&D with 3.5 and 5th edition, mainly for the Eberron and Forgotten Realms settings and homebrew. I strive for role-playing and have run games that lean more combat-heavy or more RP intensive depending on who's at the table. So far, I have completed 4 Lost Mines of Phandelver adventures, 1 Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, 1 Dragon of Icespire Peak. There are currently 2 full campaigns taking parties to 20th level and a few more closing in on that milestone. I have several games a week I run for.

GM Style

I strive for role-playing and action-oriented where a story calls for it. I am working on better character voices and narrative. I totally get that some players are more comfortable and experienced and other players don't have as much experience with little to no role-play. I will do my best to set up level-appropriate challenges & encounters based on what I know characters should be able to handle. As the DM, you will see me set my rolls to public on the platforms I use so everyone can see them. I do expect players to remember that we are playing a game, one that is cooperative, this is not Players vs DM. Nor do I want Player vs Player at the table where it spills over from out-of-character conflicts. Trust that I've got the narrative handled and in hand. I prescribe to the philosophy of "The Monsters Know What They're Doing" in both the book series and blog. If there are goals and plans you want with your character, let me know so that those story hooks can be worked into the adventure.
