About Phantom3422
I am a DM or GM, depending on the game, who loves eldritch horror, science fiction, and fantasy. I first started running games in 10th grade at age 15, when I became the leader of my high school’s TTRPG club. In college, I helped start and run a similar club as its primary GM. Even before that, I had been creating stories throughout my life, long before I had the opportunity to play with others who shared my interests. I lived in a middle-of-nowhere town where no one seemed interested in tabletop role-playing games. Now, I run seven games a week, using every tool in my repertoire to create the best experience possible and welcome new faces into the hobby. I can run many systems, including Dungeons & Dragons, Magpie Games systems, World of Darkness systems, Call of Cthulhu, Lancer, and more niche systems such as Mercenary Merlin’s and N5E. Given three days to prepare, I am comfortable learning nearly any system. I take pride in my craft, including maps, custom items, character voices, and attentive player care. I use safety tools, clear communication, and understanding to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

How Phantom3422 runs games
I run massive, expansive worlds filled with possibilities, combining high-stakes combat, enormous dungeons, exciting encounters, heroic action, puzzles, and political intrigue. I adapt to different settings, audiences, and player preferences to keep everyone engaged. My most common style is a heroic tale that places the party above the ordinary. Every encounter can be overcome through teamwork and skill. I ensure every player has an opportunity to shine and demonstrate their heroism—or villainy, depending on the system. I run fun, fast-paced encounters that make players feel like an important part of the story. My games feature world-building and roleplay in both voice and play-by-post formats, expansive puzzles that feel integrated into the world, and an ever-growing library of maps. I can also run many published D&D adventures. Additionally, I run games for children at local game stores and libraries, giving them a welcoming introduction to tabletop gaming. I teach new players about the hobby whenever I have the opportunity.
