About DM - Stile
I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was a child. It was something I grew up with. Over the years I have played in both private games in-person and over discord as both a Dungeon Master and player. While I have experience in running modules I have become attached to creating my own worlds and personalized storylines. At this point I have almost 30 years of play under my belt with about 12 years of that being a DM. I have worked with other DM's worldwide to develop my talents in providing an immersive experience and story writing. My latest ventures have been in westmarch style play but I am trying to transition back to running more formal style, personal games.

How DM - Stile runs games
My GM style tends to be pretty forgiving for Rule of Cool. I like to let players explore and have options to take multiple paths to the end of the game. I also like to create personalized experiences where the players really feel like they came from the worlds I create. Heavy on storytelling and narrative with custom/complex battles when they do occur. I believe that scenarios and environments should evolve as the players do, and so interactions will get progressively more complex as stories continue.

I deal with rules issues by...
Listening to reasoning. While I do expect my players to respect that GM ruling stands I will always give players a chance to explain their reasoning. I like to employ rule of cool if possible and everything is situational.
Rules are...
1) Respect. Issues may arise but bring them up respectfully. 2) Acceptance. No discrimination of any sort at my table. 3) Understanding. Everyone makes mistakes and not everyone learns the same things. Turn everything into a teaching moment.

I love it when a player
Invests into their backstory. Especially in my more sandbox style games I enjoy helping a player become immersed in the world.
My perfect party mix is
Players that can communicate and get along. Being able to work through interpersonal issues and understanding the line between character and player is important. A group of players who can at least do this can create great party dynamics regardless of composition.
