42, Scot, M. I've been running and playing RPGs for around six years — starting in 1997 and picking up again in 2020 after a long life break. I've run games online in several Discord servers and cons. I put in a lot of prep for games in Foundry: character art, music, maps, short films. If you've played Coriolis "Last Flight of the Ghazali" or Delta Green "Last Things Last" and "Night Floors", you may have seen my community maps in use.

GM Style

I work in the media and view gaming seriously as an offshoot profession. That said, I like to have a chuckle with players, especially if games have taken a heavy turn. The most important thing is for players and the GM to have fun, and everyone gets time to shine. I've a broad sci-fi and horror knowledge, history of the British Isles and Europe from Dark Ages. I have an obvious Scottish accent. Investigative games will be long on research, horror games will build tension through dialogue and mood. Combat will always tend to be short and decisive. If it's gone longer than three rounds, something has gone terribly wrong.
