About the adventure
The Riddles of Ryva call! You are part of the Arcane Explorers' Society and part of a special, new task force that should journey through the world and solve mysteries and riddles, follow up on rumors, investigate strange occurences, and document anything of value. You are explorers, pioneers, scientists, but most of all: adventurers! People call you Truthseekers. Riddles of Ryva is a Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign, completely homebrewed and will be custom-tailored to your characters, their backstory, and their motivations. We play in Ryva, a world of my creation, which is also the setting for my Twitch live-play show "Adventures of the Havok." You can expect a world rich with characters, lore, and story! RoR is going to be a light-hearted fantasy "road trip" adventure that will have as much or as little main sotry and railroading as you prefer. I tend to expand the story on the go in relation what the player characters do or want. Everyone is welcome, and this campaign is beginner-friendly!

Hi, wonderful human! I'm Zein. My passion is storytelling and narrative design. I've been making narrative video games for over ten years now and enjoy playing TTRPGs as well, starting to be a DM around three years ago and professionally DM'ing on Twitch for almost a year now. What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Create a level 3 character on D&D Beyond before session 0 - Make sure you have a Discord account - Somewhat decent mic and headset appreciated, reduces feedback
What Zein brings to the table
- I will host Foundry VTT, all you need to do is connect via a browser - D&D Beyond Content Sharing, including Player's Handbook, DMG, Xanathar, Volo's, Sword Coast, and Tasha's - Curated Playlist for every mood and scene

How Zein creates a safe table
We will establish preferences and boundaries in a session 0 (free), before the first session! I'm using the system of lines and veiles, as well as the X card. Lines are themes that will not appear at all and veils are things that might happen but will happen "behind the curtain" ---Lines--- Torture Explicit gore descriptions Explicit sex Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism Child abuse Sexual abuse ---Veils--- will be established in session 0 If anything should ever come up during a session that makes you uncomfortable, you can write "X" in chat or say it and I will fade to black and skip the scene.
