About the adventure
This is an introduction session aimed to help new players join the community! In this friendly discussion and short game run, we will go over all the essentials for a new player to start adventuring! The content of this session is: - What is TTRPG? - Essentials of Role Playing - Lovecraftian horror tropes and materials - Building a character's background and core mechanics. - Short experience in role-play, using character sheet and dice.
This workshop aims to introduce players - new and veteran to Call of Cthulhu 7e. This 3 part series would go through the basics of running the game: Session 1: Basics of storytelling, roles of the Keeper, outlining an adventure and improv. Session 2: Roleplay, player agency, character creation. interesting NPC's and worldbuilding. Session 3: Combat - pacing, creating high stakes, character deaths, integrating role play into combat mechanics and ways to make it more thrilling. Bonus for attending 2 or 3 sessions: Free materials, An introductory adventure, Keeper's tools, dice app, pre-gen characters and more.

How to prepare
This is an interactive session so I will encourage players to connect with a webcam and mic, but it is not entirely mandatory. Players who are willing to join in just on chat are also welcome!

I will bring you edited character sheets, suggestions on how to start role-playing, free app links and my own materials.
Gameplay details
This is not a full game, but a tutorial for new players! It is purely the basics so veterans would find much interest in it. For new players interested - you don't need anything to join this sessions! just an open mind, questions, and excitement.
