How to prepare

A mic is required. A webcam is preferred but not required. I will be on video so players will be able to see me. Setting up a game will require players to create free accounts on Roll20, Discord and D&D Beyond. Players will be able to access all premium content on each of those sites, such as advanced dynamic lighting on Roll20 and character creation options on D&D Beyond. Players are NOT required to know the rules before we start - for beginners, that's my job. I will slowly introduce the basic rules of the game as play progresses. I usually start each session by going over one basic rule to help the players get familiar with the fundamentals of the game. But getting started PLAYING is a priority.

What I provide

I provide the invite to the campaign for character creation and an invite to the game on Roll20. Roll20 is our VTT and is what I use for maps and other settings. I can provide tokens to represent the player characters or players can provide their own. I also have a lot of cool stuff on Roll20 like animated spells and condition markers that help to enhance the VTT experience.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a fun adventure that is not without its tense moments. And you'll get to kill a lot of monsters.

How will character creation work

Players will be invited to create a character on D&D Beyond in a campaign that I create. This will allow players to access all the premium content I have already purchased, giving them character creating options from Tasha's Cauldron and Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
