Here comes another batch of big stories from the tabletop RPG world! This week, we have one last chance for Roll20 users to claim free digital adventures, a cool new D&D toy, a preview of the latest sorcerer subclass, and a reprint of a classic superhero TTRPG. So without further ado, let’s get into it!

D&D Introduces Transformer-Style Toys

With the Dungeons & Dragons movie coming out next year, Hasbro is moving to capitalize on the brand with a big multimedia push. Toys are a natural part of this big wave, and there’s one big standout on social media already: Dicelings.

These clever little toys borrow the idea of transformers and combine them with classic D&D monsters. A beholder, owlbear, black dragon, and red dragon can all transform into a d20 by folding up. It’s a really cool concept that’s sure to appeal to young and old fans alike. They’re up for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse now.

Dragonlance Details The New Lunar Sorcerer

The upcoming Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen book will bring one new subclass to D&D 5E, the Lunar Sorcerer. The big gimmick here is that the sorcerer’s spells are influenced by one of three moon phases that they pick after each long rest. This of course changes the spells on the sorcerer’s spell list and offers certain bonuses based on the phase. Flavor is sure to be huge with this subclass as well due to the strong theming and importance of the moon in Krynn.

Mutants & Masterminds 3E Heads To Kickstarter For Reprint

Green Ronin Publishing is going back to the printers for more copies of the Mutants & Masterminds core rulebooks. Not only that, but accomplishing stretch goals will also unlock reprints of books like Hero High Revised and Atlas of Earth Prime. While this is great news for Green Ronin and fans of Mutants & Masterminds, there’s also some urgency to this campaign–inflation is causing printing and shipping prices to rise, so this Kickstarter is the last chance to get these books for their current prices.

‍

As we close out this week, we urge you to check out GM Nick! He runs a fantasy version of Mutants & Masterminds that takes place in an adventuring academy. Enjoy your games and have a great weekend!
