DnD Circle Magic Preview For Forgotten Realms Book

A new post on D&D Beyond goes into the details of Circle Magic, a new mechanic for Dungeons & Dragons 5E. The idea is that a group of spellcasters pool their powers to dramatically enhance the effect of a spell. According to the post, this enhancement could take the form of sharing concentration, extending range, prolonging length, or removing the need for a costly material component. Two new damage spells, Doomtide and Spellfire Storm, were also shown as an example of how Circle Magic can boost already powerful effects to new levels.

That’s all, a quick one this week! Thanks for reading, and may your dice be kind.

Sergio Solórzano is the best Dungeon Master in the USA (according to a Wizards of the Coast competition, anyway). He loves minis and terrain but also goes all-in on improv!
