March is here and with it comes a bunch of new tabletop TTRPG announcements. And here they are in bite-sized chunks, so you can get back to rolling dice.Â
This week: Dungeons & Dragons reveals its 2026 release calendar, Meow Wolf Kickstarts a TTRPG, Wolfenstein will crowdfund a TTRPG, and the new hit Pumpkin Spice broke the $1 million crowdfunding mark.
DnD 2026 Release Schedule Finally Revealed, As Well As 5.5e Rename

Wizards of the Coast put out its long-awaited Dungeons & Dragons 2026 book releases, as well as embraced the fan label of 5.5e. The latter happened earlier this week. Wizards of the Coast has an FAQ available on the subject of 5.5e. According to WotC, 5.5e is just a relabeling of rules on D&D Beyond for clarity’s sake and because so many players are calling the 2024 rules by that name. It isn’t meant to signify a big rebrand or hint at a new edition.Â
As for the 2026 DnD books, WotC is establishing a seasonal model for this year’s releases. The summer will be the Season of Horror, propped up by Ravenloft: The Horrors Within. The title is a new sourcebook with Dark Bargains, horror-themed subclasses & species, and updated stat blocks to bring Strahd and friends to (ahem) 5.5e. After that will be Season of Magic, marked by two books in September: a sourcebook of magic player options and a Red Wizards-themed campaign. Finally, Season of Champions will end the year.Â
TTRPGs Based On Wolfenstein And Meow Wolf Announced

Two more established brands are getting the tabletop RPG treatment: the Wolfenstein video game series and interactive art experience Meow Wolf. According to a report by EN World, the Wolfenstein TTRPG will be produced by Modiphius and use the 2d20 system seen in Fallout. The project will crowdfund in Fall 2026 and pull more from the more recent Wolfenstein games.Â
The Meow Wolf TTRPG is fully titled TAVERS: The Meow Wolf Roleplaying Game. It is already on Kickstarter and past its funding goal. According to Meow Wolf, the game is “a collaborative, mystery-forward TTRPG built for both longtime fans and first-time dice rollers.” Expect the brand’s unique aesthetics and emphasis on physical interactivity to play a role.Â
Pumpkin Spice TTRPG Breaks $1 Million Crowdfunding Mark

You’ve probably seen the ads all over Instagram and Reddit for a cozy RPG about witches and lattes called Pumpkin Spice. So did over 10,000 people, apparently, because Pumpkin Spice broke well through its crowdfunding goals to raise over $1 Million. The BackerKit campaign ended this week as a massive success, putting it in the ranks of IP and YouTuber backed projects like Draw Steel, Cosmere RPG, and Avatar: Legends. The eye-catching art and promise of a cozy experience in the vein of Kiki’s Delivery Service/Coffee Talk found its audience, and now aims to ship by February 2027.
