Daggerheart launches on May 20, and you can find a group to play with right away thanks to StartPlaying and Roll20’s partnership! StartPlaying has teamed up with Daggerheart publisher Darrington Press to vet 150 professional Game Masters and prepare them for release day with advance copies of the Core Rulebook. This network of GMs will be running Daggerheart games starting right on the 20th, catering to various time zones.

Daggerheart is a truly collaborative roleplaying game from Critical Role's Darrington Press that encourages players and GMs to build worlds together. Players have many options for creating Daggerheart characters using a card-based system and familiar fantasy classes. Dice are split into Hope and Fear, which empower players to make bold choices and give GMs perfect opportunities to raise the stakes when it counts.

As for Roll20’s part in the Daggerheart launch event, it is offering its brand new integration with Demiplane. The Demiplane Daggerheart Nexus is the game’s official online tool and as such provides a Character Builder, digital rules Compendium, and Game Master tools. StartPlaying GMs have been given access to these tools to share with players and make picking up Daggerheart as fast and convenient as possible. All of these tools can also be synced with the Roll20 Virtual Tabletop so GMs can deliver the fullest experience possible.
