Horror on the Orient Express: venturing into the dark
The Orient Express: an elegant mode of travelling into the east, providing many with both excitement and danger for the route ahead is mysterious.
About the adventure
You’ve just returned to London from an exhausting expedition to Egypt having explored its sun-scorched, dust-covered terrain. You are barely back on familiar ground when you receive a curious envelope from a delivery boy, sealed in wax, penned in the familiar hand of a respected scholar: “Join me for a most urgent matter.” — Professor Julius Smith No other details. No explanation. Just a date, a time, and a location. Curious as to the nature of this request you head to the British Museum to the unveiling of the new Maudslay collection and yet something feels off about this situation but you trust the professor as he has not given you any reason to doubt him before. Welcome to a Campaign of Mystery and Dread which takes you from the fog-shrouded streets of 1920s London to distant cities cloaked in elegance and shadow, your journey will span borders and brush against the veil between reason and madness. Along the way you will face strange occurrences, decode unsettling clues, and meet enigmatic allies, unsettling enemies and worse while venturing into the east. The truth lies ahead. So does something far older... and far less forgiving but you venture on. Complete safe space for all, restricted themes for time period for inclusive gameplay, zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour. No AI art allowed.

About me
Experienced DM who has too much writing and not enough players as I tend to create a lot of lore which can be adapted for any player to fit ideas they may have. I can run a wide range of games and campaigns and discuss with players about what they would like to do and try to match both my style and what they enjoy.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Creativity
World Builder
Teacher
Mrhatman is the kind of DM that is focused on player fun above all else, and really goes the extra mile creating incredible details into his set and setting. But, need I say more than he actually speaks Huttese? My conversations with the Hutts have never been more thematic.
