Star Wars Edge of the Empire - The Parcel Menace
Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games | One-Shot
About the adventure
This is a game about a parcel. It is sealed. You are delivering it. That is the job. You do not know what is in the crate. You are not being paid to ask. You were told where to take it and when to get there, and if all goes well, no one will ask any questions. That is the plan. This is also a game about how plans fall apart. About how space travel is rarely smooth, about how people lie for a living, and about how sometimes the universe just has other ideas. You may be a pilot, a slicer, a negotiator, or a sentient pile of poor choices. Regardless, you are now involved. People have started asking questions. You are starting to ask some too. But let’s not get dramatic. You are not the last hope of the galaxy. You are not here to tip the scales of a civil war. You are here to finish a delivery and get paid. Whatever else is going on, it can wait. Unless it cannot. Welcome to The Parcel Menace. A one-shot space adventure that respects your time, abuses your judgment, and offers you a chance to do something slightly better than expected. What to Expect This is a fast-moving, slightly chaotic tabletop session set in the Star Wars universe. The system is Edge of the Empire, which means the dice are weird and the consequences are entertaining. You will not need to read a rulebook beforehand. If you like character-driven drama, sharp dialogue, improvised solutions, and a strong dose of "well that escalated quickly," you will feel right at home. This is not a mystery to solve. It is a job to survive. A run to finish. The answers you discover may be partial, misleading, or entirely above your pay grade. The point is not to win. The point is to see how long you can hold the line between doing your job and doing the right thing. Or the wrong thing. Or something vaguely in between. The world reacts to your choices. The complications evolve. The story tilts. But the game does not punish curiosity or creativity. It rewards action, especially when it is messy. You are not here to make perfect decisions. You are here to make memorable ones. Who This Is For This is a great session for new players, returning players, or experienced players who want to try something focused and self-contained. You do not need to know the lore. You do not need to speak Wookiee. If you are comfortable being thrown into a strange situation and figuring it out alongside your crew, you will thrive. Tone is cinematic, grounded, and a little sarcastic. Think of the scenes between the big battles in a space opera. The conversations in cargo holds. The deals in dingy cantinas. The brief flickers of self-awareness just before everything catches fire. This is a Star Wars story without destiny. A job that feels simple until it is not. ## System and Style This one-shot uses Edge of the Empire. No system knowledge needed. Pre-gen characters provided. Expect a rules-light, story-driven session focused on character, chaos, and choices.

How will character creation work
You may use the pre-gens I've provided, but it's more fun if you create a Star Wars RPG (FF) character using the Edge of the Empire Rules. You get an extra 200 xp over the starting allotment. I DO use encumbrance. If you can tie your obligation to Black Sun, or an emerging "rebellious group" I will give you an extra 5XP.
