I have had the pleasure of playing DnD with Cal for a while now, both side by side as players and in games that he runs. Cal’s games are always incredibly well thought out, often down to the smallest details; he is an amazing storyteller who draws you in and makes you feel as though his games have real stakes for the players’ characters. I always appreciate the time he takes to understand our characters and find ways to make their choices, personalities, and stories feel meaningful within the larger narrative. He creates games where I feel comfortable taking risks, trying new things, or leaning into my character, because I know those choices will be met with thoughtfulness rather than be dismissed. His games have mystery, tension, humor, lots of room for roleplay, and plenty of memorable moments, and his narration and storytelling skills are top notch. If you’re looking for a GM who puts genuine care into the story and the people playing it, I can’t recommend Cal highly enough.

A friend and I ran a one-shot with Evie and had a lot of fun! They were very great with helping the new players and did a fantastic job with their narration and storytelling as the party worked together to solve a mystery. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more games run by Evie in the near future!

Alex is great! We're 8 or 9 sessions into our campaign with him right now, and having a blast. There are fun story beats and RP opportunities as well as thought-out battles. He brings really good, fun energy to the table and is also very helpful to players who are new to DnD.
