About me
I started playing AD&D in the 80s with my collage friends. Then I took a few decades off. I was reintroduced to D&D (5e) when my family asked during Covid - and after Stranger Things - if I would teach them to play D&D. I learned 5e and started running family games. I quickly realized that I would like to be a player, too; I was having a lot of fun. I found StartPlayingGames in 2024 and have been having a blast since.

I had a really great time playing in a western themed Daggerheart one-shot with Shaj. The group really got into the roleplaying and Shaj adjusted the story smoothly to accommodate the fun, all the while helping us become more familiar with the system without getting bogged down. I look forward to playing in another session with Shaj!
I had a great time with Rob in a Daggerheart one-shot. Rob was patient with new players unfamiliar with Daggerheart and/or Foundry. He encouraged a lot of roleplaying and the group became very creative and energetic as a result. I am truly looking forward to more sessions with Rob!
Great fun joining the adventure guild for a one-shot mission last night! Davey led a creative, fun, and challenging session with an entertaining storyline and Rule of Cool when players were being creative in their actions and roleplay. He was also very patient and helpful with players who were joining the online world of D&D for the first time. I look forward to joining him for another adventure in the future, soon.
Had a great time last night playing Daggerheart with valknutwolf. Players had limited or no experience with the system, and valknutwold was a great, patient teacher. He encouraged roleplay throughout and maintained a "Rule of Cool" allowing us to be imaginative in our actions and choices. I look forward to joining one of his sessions again!
