About Caracal

Hi there! I’m Santiago (AKA Caracal), a storyteller and Game Master who thrives on emotional, character-driven adventures. I believe every game should feel like a shared story where players experience triumphs, heartbreaks, and moments that stay with them long after the dice stop rolling. My tables are built on comfort, inclusion, and creativity; where every player’s voice matters and every character’s backstory shapes the world around them. I love helping players discover their characters’ deeper motivations and weaving those threads into a living narrative. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English, and I welcome players from all backgrounds. Whether you’re here for drama, laughter, or epic heroics, my goal is simple: to create a story we’ll all remember.

I became a GM because

Since I was a kid, I always played pretend and made stories with toys. When I grew up, that transformed into writing stories and RPing with friends. I love stories in general (games, movies, books, shows) and being a theatre kid, creating adventures and living it with my friends is a gift from life.

My favorite system of all Time is

Daggerheart. It is the reason why I´m here today, I learned it to GM a campaign with a group of friends for the first time and I fell in love with the heavy RP and versatile style the system has. I also love d12 so much! They are so cute!

When I'm not running games I'm...

Gaming, creating stories and characters, doing voluntary work for kids :)

How Caracal runs games

I run narrative-driven, roleplay-focused games where characters and their choices take center stage. Expect immersive storytelling, dynamic NPCs with distinct personalities and voices, and plots that evolve naturally from player actions. Combat is cinematic and meaningful—every encounter connects back to the story and challenges the group in creative ways. My worlds often feature morally complex themes and emotional stakes, but always with clear communication and player consent. Above all, I value collaboration. I want my players to feel like co-authors of the tale, not just participants in it.
