About me
38y experience of RPGing (my parents used to own a games shop!) I ref 20% of the time. So I know how to be a constructive player. I am already a member of two long standing groups over 20y each! So I am now looking for some fun one-shots or short campaigns to see how others are doing it, learn some new stuff whilst having fun. I do use different voices for my PCs and NPCs and prefer to play a character that is significantly different to me in at least one aspect so I can experience life from an alternative point of view. Long term I prefer a mix of RPGing and dice rolling, but I'm on here to have new RPG/gaming experiences so happy to try new things.

Ibis ran a really fun MET Gala based one-shot that I really enjoyed. I've played in maybe 30 one-shots and this was one of the best. He created a great world and story for our characters to inhabit and interact with. He played the different NPCs really well, with their different voices, styles and motivations. When the players suggested new ideas he ran with those, whilst appropriately not allowing us to have it all our own way. Good judgment calls on the rolls and rules so we felt challenged while still managing to be victorious in the end. I'm looking forward to playing in his other one-shots.
As a first time player of the new Marvel Super Hero rules, Julia seamlessly weaved a great story for me to play alongside other players who knew the rules intimately. She brought the rules and rolls to life by narrating the effects of our actions whether successful or less so! Each player got a chance to shine and be the (super) hero of the day. Much fun. Would recommend.
I played in a dnd one-shot of Rush's own design. It had a host of interesting and novel encounters to challenge the party. Rush made sure each player had a chance to shine and be the hero. He also allowed the party freedom to pursue the mission the way they wanted and adapted to our different approach. Recommended!
Cosmo ran a really fun one-shot (Wild Sheep Chase). He did the voices and roleplay of the NPCs very well. Gave us challenging and interesting combats where different NPCs had different objectives - so that were not simple slugfests. Lots of varied and interesting skill and roleplay challenges in different scenes with different NPCs as part of a cohesive plot. He also brought lots of fun energy and ensured each player and their character had a time to shine in the spotlight. I would gladly play in another one of his games. :-)
