About me
I started with RPGs with Palladium's Robotech RPG in 1987. Then moved on to AD&D2e in the 1990s. When Shadowrun and Vampires became the vogue, I switched over to West End Games Star Wars, and started GMing. I fell away from the hobby when games became too tactical and bogged down with combat that started becoming too much like video games, as I just played those instead. Recently I have had a new renaissance into the hobby, thanks to discovering innovative games and systems such as rules-light and narrative first breakthroughs as Blades in the Dark, Coriolis, Forbidden Lands, Vaesen, and Mutant: Year Zero made me realize that there is so much more variety of RPGs these days, in order to cater to anyone no matter the interests. I have always been more of a storyteller than a tactical combat tactician. And while min/maxing the rules in order to create an OP build to win at combat was fun in my teens, I much more enjoy telling a great story, and helping people get into their roles with the same joy and passion as a method actor, or an improv comic. While new at the whole VTT scene, I'd very much like you to join my games and let's have with the power of story telling! (And its okay if we blow some stuff up too!)
GM Style
I am a story first narrative GM, with light voice acting. Preference to theatre of the mind over crunchy rules heavy tactical combat. I like to explore themes of epic proportions, or those that delve into the human soul. Exploration of the wilderness, and the balance between humanity and nature is a topic I enjoy exploring. Also that of a post-human future. I enjoy a good amount of humor in my games.
