About me
I've been a DM for over 10 years, started playing 3'rd edition & have been going since. I have always enjoyed the amazing stories that come from d&d and want to share that experience with everyone.

Eiko is an absolutely top tier DM. She strikes a very good balance between Rules as Written, Rules as Intended, and Rules as Fun and is always willing to work with you to make sure you're playing the character you want to play. In one of the groups I'm in every player has at least refactored if not wholly swapped out the character they're playing, sometimes more than once. She's also quite capable at balancing monster encounters around the abilities of the party, so nobody should feel forced to play a particular role for party balance. She's competent with the wide variety of modules she runs in Foundry VTT. It's a fairly automated setup which makes for a very enjoyable player experience in my opinion, with lots of fun animations and lighting effects. Her homebrew world is very well developed and full of interesting history and locations. She encourages player creativity and is quite capable of taking an idea and running with it to seamlessly incorporate it in to the world. Don't be afraid to think outside the box with Eiko, more often than not she'll be happy to work with it. Eiko is also adept at handling inter-party friction, allowing for conflict to occur when it adds to the story but calling a halt and checking in when necessary. Don't forget to try the Adderpickles.
Some GM's have their upsides and downsides, but when it comes to Eiko, they do it as one of the best. In and out of the game, Eiko is always free to answer questions or to chat about something and is very patient when it comes to hiccups or life happening. If you are looking for a healthy mix of intense combat and deep story, then Eiko is the GM for you!
Eiko does an amazing job of creating a game that lets you forget about the real world and simply immerse yourself in the world she's created. Fantasy worlds are made up of two things: Locations and NPCs. Eiko does a great job of developing both. Every city and town you visit feels alive and lived in. They have history to them and have a reason for being. Every settlement has a story to tell you as a player just in its being. They feel like the carry on their existence whether or not you're around. Eiko's greatest strength is in creating NPCs. From an insurance salesman gobilns, a card dealing octopus, a keeper of pet peacocks, to run of the mill tavernkeepers, Eiko knows how to present NPCs that interest and engage the party. Tropes are often turned on their heads. "Monsters" as often as not are presented as social encounters. Even villians offer the opportunity for interaction. All in all, Eiko offers players a compelling, unique opportunity to play DnD every week. I can't recommend her enough to players who like to lean into the social/exploration aspects of the game that often take a back seat to combat.
Too bad that I could only select 3 descriptives for Eiko. i could've easily picked 5 or 6 others! After not having played D&D for 30 years (yeah, you read that right), she made me feel so at ease and helped me learn VTT and 5E rules. Not to mention the world that she's built. Trust me, if you're looking for a patient, knowledgeable, FUN, and creative GM, look no further.
Icon's a great GM and in the multiple groups I've played with him thus far theirs always been a very wonderful group dynamic. Icon seems to love working with players regarding their characters and interweaving things related to them, or opportunity, into the campaign and thus is very character focused. How combat is done is always rather varied too, from a singular boss monster to a swarm of minions ripe for a fireball. Additionally he himself is quite humorous and happy to engage in inevitable inane conversations and banter that crop up amongst his players, delivering some of the most important aspects of in-person gaming possible in my opinion. Lastly, the small community of players that's formed around his campaigns are great people themselves to play with.
I enjoyed the story bits and improv this DM helped facilitate. Last week we had 2/5 of our players MIA so the remaining group slowed things down with our own stuff in a city setting. I have now a comedic boon now where when my character sits for a meal, random cats appear looking for food from my vegetarian character. This week mixed with the dramatic scenes were plenty of other moments of the havoc caused by hungry cats suddenly being in the calm meal setting. I don't play Grim or Horror campaigns and I never play as an edgelord so having a DM and campaign that is openly fun where the whole point is having fun while engaging in the game is very good.
