About the adventure
Deep in the Ethereal Plane, the ancient, fossilized corpse of a gigantic creature of an unknown species was colonized by a multitude of different cultures and races. A prosperous city was formed, a constant mix of different ideas and traditions, striving to work together. The crystals surrounding the city allow its people to travel to various locations and serve as a beacon to anyone who needs help in the Ethereal Plane. But what sounds like a paradise of multicultural cooperation is still strife with petty rivalries, greed, and angry spirits, not to mention the dangerous and mysterious places that can be visited through the various crystals. Welcome to the Radiant Citadel. - Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel is a compilation of one-shots that can be run isolated or incorporated in people's campaigns. In this game, we'll be going through all the of the one shots, while also diving into a deeper homebrew story that I'm creating that allows all the one shots to be connected, while also giving players the chance to explore their own backgrounds and other surprises I create for everyone. The adventure will take the players from level 1 to level 15 (or beyond if the group wants to proceed further).

About me
Hey, everyone. After many years playing and GMing various types of games, I've decided to delve deeper into the hobby. I currently have my own website with RPG-related content, along with some board game goodness. I'm also working on a DnD book and some other stuff that I'm super excited to share with you all in the future. I have experience with many different systems. From the classic D&D to the edgy World of Darkness. From the futuristic Cypher to the gloriously queer Thirsty Sword Lesbians. I've really played it all (except for Gurps...that one gave me a headache). As a GM, I very much value roleplay and fun, with a good touch of chaos. Metagame is nearly useless in my games, as many monsters will have different abilities and other surprises I'll throw in. That medusa? She's a cursed human and kept her paladin levels. That hag is genuinely just a salesperson (just ignore some of the creepier products). Oh, and the dragon breathes hallucinogenic gas instead of fire. Good luck.

Creating your character
We will create most of the characters during session zero. After that, we can arrange quick meetings if anything is left unfinished or if anyone needs help before we start playing.
The party accepted a job to clear a dwarven mine out of an infestation of phase spiders. As they got there, they were surprised to find way more spider than expetcted, as well as with the help of a mind flayer. We have an ombrask wizard/warmage (class focused on powerful cantrips), a dragonborn paladin, a wood elf druid, and a high elf artificer. Everyone is currently at level 10. The party is going more for a stealth/mobility set up, so it'd be nice if new characters stuck to that. :)
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players need a Roll20 and a discord accounts for the game and, since we'll be playing online, a good enough mic is essential. It's also important to read the basic rules of D&D 5e before the game so that things flow better, and beginner players can feel free to message me with any questions they may have.
What Felipe Lopez brings to the table
I have all the official material necessary for the game prepped in Rol20 and some extra content I'll be creating for the game as well. I can also prepare special tools designed to assist beginners in the game.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules are decided during session zero.
