I try to have a relaxed attitude while pushing the genre with descriptions and art depicting the scenes. If tension is required I will try to build it as needed. If action is called for I will go for intensity. For my horror games I will try to build dread and appropriate fear. I will also immediately stop if asked and go back to just me if things are too much for anyone.
