About GM Rain

Hello! My name is Rain (She/They), and I'm a huge admirer of all things artistic and passionate. My main love being stories, I live to write and explore many different worlds and characters within my own imagination. However, nothing is better than gathering a group of people to tell stories with. Having a group to imagine, dream, and explore with is absolutely the most rewarding experience I have been given, and I so really want to deliver that same experience to you. I have been a Game Master since I was twelve, and ever since then, I have had a deep passion for all forms of Role Playing and storytelling. As a GM, I tend to love having complex PC's to make a narrative around, a heroic story with difficult choices, and epic combats that are both tactical and full of character interaction. I am very flexible with game systems and knowledgeable of mechanics. I enjoy GM'ing many different games and genres, including classics like horror, fantasy, or sci-fi. If all of this sounds good to you, I'd definitely love to be your GM sometime :).

How GM Rain runs games

* Loves roleplay and character choice. * Tries to encourage PC interaction and teamwork. * Builds a lot of maps and handouts to help immerse you into the story. * Builds a breathing world. * Does many character voices. * Occasional large (grid-based) combats during epic moments. * Focuses on the tension and drama of the current situation. * Takes the game seriously (but of course, its a game after all!) * Is the PC's number 1 fan, but that includes challenging them in as many ways as possible. * Fun and immersion over mechanics.
