About David Carithers
Role-playing games, such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior, roped me into the world of RPGs at the young age of 5. It only took a few years before I started in the world of TTRPGs. Now in my 30s, I have long enjoyed creating characters, playing in campaigns, and running for a few years as well!

I got started GMing...
By being thrown the A Song of Ice and Fire TTRPG core rules and being told "wing it." This resulted in half a campaign of "what if" of the events from the start of the book series, if the players' custom house was there from the start.
How David Carithers runs games
My campaigns tend to have plenty of roleplay, where action or inaction of the characters can affect the entirety of the campaign, as well as giving the option for high-stakes combat. Many of my stories tend to be bullet points that I want, and I allow the players to build their walls of crazy to try and figure out what is going on as I weave a story like a spider weaves a web.
