About me
Hello! I'm Alex and I've been DMing and playing TTRPGs for over a decade! I love fantasy and all that comes with it, most of all its roleplay splendor! Be it creating big narrative moments, intense fights, or simply humorous and fun moments. I'm knowledgeable on many systems, tools and deeply invested in different settings and lore. My goal as a DM is to create the most immersive games possible. I want my players to feel as though they embody their characters, seeing the world through their eyes. As such I focus on promoting as much roleplay in my games as I can whilst also providing maps, art, and all sorts of features that bring the world to life. I hope we have the chance to play together ~ thank you for reading!
GM Style
I'm a GM who loves and encourages roleplay. I want my players to be immersed in richly described world and interact with character that also feel real. Voices? Yes. Art? Yes. Rich narrative? Yes. Be it describing how your sword or magic cuts a foe down, or how a bard smiles and gives you a wink ~ my games are all about rp moments at their core even in the heat combat. And most important of all, your character's story. I truly care about giving each player at my table a story to remember and play in. Of course when it comes to all aspects of the game, whether rp or combat encounters. I'm very confident!

Alex is amazing!! They're able to really make sessions dynamic and aligned to what the party wants: they plan amazing, cinematic plot moments; lay the groundwork for and give players space for incredible rp; and integrate challenging combat where needed to drive plot forward, rather than just shoehorning random combats in for the sake of it. The world-building in the custom setting we play in is phenomenal (!!!), yet still manages to seamlessly integrate character backstory and make sure everyone feels rooted in the world.

Alex is an amazing DM. The description and mood that he is able to create during the sessions is absolutely astonishing. The way he integrates the backstory and background of characters into the narrative of the game is one of the best qualities that continues to surprise me. Moreover the way he actively works to create a friendly and inclusive environment demonstrates how much he cares about the players and story that is being created at the table.

Alex is an extraordinary GM, with a huge emphasis on showing your character's impact on the lore of the world. These worlds themselves are extremely layered and logical, but always put your PC first - a strong testament to Alex's ability to weave fun stories with you at the center.

Have played with this GM in a couple of one shots. They gave every player at the table equal amounts of attention and greatly encouraged immersive play. They also encourage open and honest communication in a healthy way. If you are seeking a deep RP experience and great immersive play. This GM is a great choice.
