About Tales of TPK

I have been hosting games for what feels like a long time! When dnd 5e came out my friends all wanted to try it, so I bought the player's handbook and DMs guide. To ensure I learnt it all, I transcribed all of the two books by hand onto paper. Three days later we had our first game and I absolutely fell in love. Since then I have been playing high and low, at the most, I had 6 games a week that I ran and partook in another two. I ran my first paid game five years ago and we played for 2 years spanning an adventure from level one to eleven. Now I am looking to start up another group (or maybe even two?) in my own homebrew world! Here is a link to more information about it should you be interested; https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Psz8MHY4kSL-Q3soZCP_KmJOm8Dy3lxQ/view?usp=sharing I am a fan of a more gritty & realistic game. Whilst I do love 5e it is a bit basic for my taste at times. My solution to this was to create a 5.1 edition, bringing back rules from older editions (such as pathfinder) and also creating things that are my own. You can find the ruleset I utilize here, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PNeh3zmB2RfvU3cMF8l5AHD06Jdar3hx/view?usp=sharing I am also intending to stream the game, as I am already streaming the other game that I run on Sundays.

How Tales of TPK runs games

The one thing that never changes with my games is the focus. The focus for me is the characters & their story. The development we see from level 1 to level 10 is what I am here for! It is important for me that characters fit into the world and have reasons to do what they do, I want it to be as real as possible. I run very challenging games with combats being far and few between. However, the fights will keep you at the edge of your seat unsure how it will go until the very end. Roleplaying over Rollplaying is also a common statement. In my games you have to describe your actions before rolling, and you have to actually argue should you want to persuade, deceive or intimidate NPCs. My hope is to DM for a group of 5 people at a cost of 15 Euro per session. However, if you are an established group of less or more players please do contact me and we can tailor a deal to work for you!
