The Chaotic Truth (Session Zero Free)
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Welcome to Raelvo, a world where the echoes of ancient powers and the clamor of new ambitions collide. For centuries, this realm has known little but conflict and change, its history a tumultuous saga of discovery, conquest, and uneasy truces. The recent unveiling of a new continent, Kho'as, has ignited a firestorm of intrigue and warfare among the old kingdoms, each eager to extend their dominions into these uncharted territories. Now, as a precarious peace holds sway, the voracious appetites of the most formidable nations cast long shadows over the land. Yet, beyond the glittering courts and battle-scarred borders lies a realm of shadow and mystery. On the distant frontiers, where the wilds of Kho'as meet the ambitions of explorers and settlers alike, dark forces and ancient terrors stir amidst the chaos of civilization's reach. Here, in the burgeoning frontier, a volatile mix of old beliefs and new desires ferment, creating a crucible of potential and peril. As corruption weaves its insidious threads through the fabric of society and whispers of a looming conflict grow louder, Raelvo stands on the brink of a new epoch. With every nation's gaze fixed on the enigmatic shores of Kho'as, the stage is set for heroes to emerge, for legends to be born, and for the age-old struggle between order and chaos to unfold. In the heart of this world, amidst the swirling mists of change and the shadows of forgotten deities, the fate of Raelvo hangs in the balance, awaiting the next chapter in its endless story. There will be hardships and struggles. There will be moments that will either define you or break you. There is scarce light to be seen, but it is there, a faint beacon lighting the way through tides of darkness. How will the truth affect you? Players can expect to play in a homebrew world using the DND5e ruleset. This adventure will take place in the city of Nova Liber and will explore most if not all of the frontier and beyond. Players will start at level 2 and will be able to level up to level 20, however this is if all side content is completed. Intrigue will be a major part of the story along with character relationships. Joining part way through the campaign is acceptable, but any player who joins within the day of the session will have to wait until the next session to join, just for the sake of easing into the campaign. This obviously does not apply to session zeroes.

Avi is an absolute blast to play for. He is very patient and kind when it comes to setting up a new character, where I especially appreciated his allowance of Homebrew, and during the sessions where he allows character development and moments/situations to breathe. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about the material, really drawing you into the story. It's always a very engaging, fun, and positive experience. Great and awesome guy overall, and I would highly recommend Avi for any of your D&D needs
Avi is awesome! We’re over a dozen sessions into the two-part Hoard of the Dragon Queen campaign and the party is having a blast! Avi does a great job including character backstories into the story if players give him things to work with. He will not hold back if players continue to go into combat, which can lead to some well-deserved, challenging encounters. I don’t think there’s been anything cool we’ve wanted to do so far that Avi has shot down, and he’s been on board with all of our shenanigans so far! Avi does a great job of describing anything theater-of-the-mind. In my prior DM experiences, it can somehow be hard to understand what’s actually going on, but Avi does a great job with both descriptions and voices. Avi is great for both beginners and veterans - For both D&D and for the tools he uses. I’m a roll20 noob but he’s been great at helping with any issues we have. He even sets up special macros as needed to make our lives easier. If you’ve gotten this far, stop reading now and just book the session! You’re not going to regret it! See you in the discord!

What I provide
I have access to many modules and official content to share with the players for no extra charge. I create the vast majority of my maps so there will be a quality of passion behind my work that I feel players will appreciate. Also currently I have many artists to recommend the players to if they want their character portraits more specialized. As a bonus some of these artists are willing to offer discounts for any player I refer to them.
Gameplay details
Players can expect a variety of rule sets designed to make the world more gritty and to make players consider choices more carefully. Exhaustion will feature more prominently in the campaign if the players are too reckless, and the world state will change for better or worse with their actions.
