About the adventure
For years, the Cult of the Dragon has endeavored in vain to fulfill an ancient prophecy, but at every turn, their attempts have failed. Now, under new leadership, they have a new goal. To fulfill this prophecy by bringing about a dragon empire long thought extinct, with Tiamat at the helm. In this adventure, you and your fellow adventurers will be exploring the Sword Coast to uncover the true machinations of the Cult of the Dragon and stop them before they can succeed! You will follow the trail they leave behind and make allies or enemies along the way as the cult tries to enlist towns and cities with the people within. Will you be able to stop the Cult of the Dragon in time? Will Tiamat’s reign and the prophecy come to pass? Only time will tell!

Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
We will be starting this adventure at level three, and we will be taking one week off, every month. Dragons have been terrorizing the coast. As things escalate, people are looking for heroes to step up and negate this growing threat. Will you be one of them and join our ranks?

How to prepare
✔ Signup to Discord, and get to know your fellow adventurers. ✔ Get familiar with the Rules and your characters build. ✔ Get setup where you can avoid background noise. ✔ Get in contact asap, so we can get you set up.
What I provide

Gameplay details
✔ We play using Discord for voice and Foundry VTT for visuals, sheets, and dice. A decent personal computer is required; tablets and phones are not recommended to run these tools during a session. Foundry VTT is configured with minimal automation. ✔ Session zero is used to get a short intro, go over character backgrounds, and possible links between characters as they meet up to head to the house. People starting later will get a private session zero so they can jump in. ✔ Tabletop role-playing games are meant to be an escape from the troubles of our daily lives. Members of the party are expected to work as a team while being open and respectful to all. Real-world prejudices, such as racism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia, are not acceptable.

How will character creation work
✔ We will stick to the 2024 rule books for this game. No extra sources are allowed. ✔ Character creation can happen on D&D Beyond or within Foundry VTT. I will help you move characters from D&D Beyond to Foundry VTT when needed. ✔ We will not be using the link between foundry and D&D beyond. If required, I will take some time getting you familiar with the Foundry VTT character sheets.
