About the adventure
The PCs are simple residents of the sleepy town of Willowshore. You wake up one morning after the annual festival to find everything changed. It's up to you to protect your hometown, rally the people, and get to the bottom of the strange occurences that have plagued this pastoral village. Though this is a horror AP, there will be a lot of "slice of life" sections. Expect some periods of downtime where you're just helping out around the town and chatting with the townsfolk. Influence subsystems! Mechanical consequence! This will still be pretty damn spooky, and I'm gonna try to punch that up as much as I can (always tougher online where I can't set your environment). The AP is in a never-before-seen format covering levels 1-12 spread over four books.

Gameplay details
This is a horror game where the horror is made worse by being an integral part of the community in which you're in. My hope is to make there be dread for yourself and those around you, then for you to overcome and experience sweet times with your friends and family. I'm hoping to have engaged players who are willing to roleplay the highs and lows.

How will character creation work
We'll prepare characters on the server before time (it's persistent and cloud-hosted). We might have discussions on the discord to flesh everything out. Nobody has to have anything settled by session 0, but we should be set by the end of that session!
