About the adventure

The setting is my homebrew world, and anyone who signs up will be entering a high-level Pathfinder 2e campaign. This campaign is a great introduction to my world, as your characters will be used to establish the general timeline of the world and may even be used as NPCs in the future. Because, yes, every time I run this short campaign, it means that there is now another parallel universe to the one you're in. Now, the world itself? It's got a long history, but the summary is that there was another war among the gods that saw most of them now dead, three levels of hell are flooded by a slime god and the material realm, fey wild and Underdark are cut off from everything else by two massive walls of magic called the 'Pacts' the gods made these to stop their conflicts interfering with mortals. Now, two hundred years have passed since that calamity, and you guys are wandering in the Southeast Sea in this world. The South East Sea is an area of islands stuck between two small continent-sized nations, the predominantly human Kingdom of Graywall and the Silver Elf Republic. The two sides have been clashing over this area, sometimes alongside deadly swarms of Saughuin and the neutral underwater kingdom of Trincorn. In between all the monsters, warships, and pirates, there lies a strange phenomenon that can occur called 'the roar of the sea', where disaster strikes after a scream can be heard in the sea. While it's rare, and most believe it to be false, a few brave souls have tried to find out its cause, only to be heard from never again. The wizards of the Highmage guild believe that this is connected to the dangerous white rocks. In contrast, Kedian Academics believe it is a natural phenomenon that occurs from weather patterns and residual magic in the air. Only one fact is known: those who hear the scream are never heard from again. No one has survived, and by choice, you guys have willingly signed up to find out the cause of this strange phenomenon. You will start in one nation, either the Republic or Graywall, and it's an important choice, as there are items in one that you cannot buy in the other. After you have done your shopping, you will head out and end up on the island after encountering the disaster. And that's all the information you are getting for now, so if you want a thrilling, high-level adventure that does not last too long and gets you introduced to the world, then feel free to sign up to the session zero and see if it suits you.

About me

I'm a guy who loves mixing history with Tabletop RPGs. I'm currently experienced with Pathfinder 1e, 2e, and D&D 5e, but I'm looking to expand into other systems, such as Mutants & Masterminds, Warhammer Fantasy or Humblewood. Right now, I am working on my custom world using Pathfinder 1e or 2e, and I wanted to expand my player base beyond my friends. So if you are looking for an experience where you cannot predict what will happen next and unique then feel free to join in.

King has been a good and fair dungeon master for multiple campaigns in my group. I was there for his very first D&D campaign, which was filled with chaos. Over the 15 years since that campaign, he has developed into a well-organised DM. There have been some campaigns where disputes arose between players, not due to the game itself, but rather outside of it. King was able to resolve these issues by reducing the conflict and keeping it out of the game. In person, he has made allowances for injuries... We had a player who sliced off part of his finger (In a door and unfortunately brought the pics). King was able to change our timetable, making adjustments so that the player was able to update his character sheet and provided assistance. If I were asked to recommend him 15 years ago, I would have said no, even though he was kind, he was disorganised. Now, however, he has become a very organised dm, caring, taking players' opinions and fun into consideration when running sessions.

If you are looking for a cool and friendly GM, he is the one. Mister King allows for great creativity from the players and is always willing to lend a hand to beginner players (such as me). Granted, I do not have much TTRPG experience, but I can definitely say that I had lots of fun. If you are a beginner, or are just looking for a fun and chill game, do message this guy. I highly recommend him.

Character creation
Creating your character

It will start at the session zero where we will talk about rules and origins in more depth. Please note that this is my homebrew world so that things can be quite a bit different from your standard Pathfinder, so there are flying elves with wings like albertrosses and half giants. And do not even get me started on all the cultures and the massive pantheon of now-dead gods, fey courts and theri abilities alongside a few other things that I will keep quiet about for now. However, that's for Session Zero and the primer to address.
