About me

I have been running games for kids for the past six years. I have run over 300 hundred games to over 500 students over that time period. I have specifically run several games for kids who are neurodiverse. I am even on a platform specifically for neurodiverse kids and their educational needs running D&D games I have designed. I specialize in creative; role play heavy games that are inclusive to all. I have also given interviews and written blog pieces on the benefits of running games for kids and adults alike. Especially for those who are neuro diverse. Here is an interview I did that gives insight into my DM style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoqSM3P9NZA&t=764s On SPG I run several horror themed games for adults. Many set in the Grim Hollow setting. I will happily run games for younger players upon request. I also run a server with my husband, also a DM on SPG (https://startplaying.games/gm/cuddlemonkey). https://discord.gg/meganandthemonkey I firmly believe in player agency and just having fun. My games are filled with laughter, intense battles and stories that connect the players. Beyond this I am a mom to four and a proud nerd. I provide games for adults, kids, and families as a whole. I look forward to creating a World for you to play in.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen in the Discord server. All official material is fair game. 1. Clear any homebrew with me before you commit to it. 2. I use a modified standard array 17, 16, 15, 13, 11 and 9 with a free starting level 1 feat. If anyone has any questions about building characters, I can always be reached through either SPG or Discord.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a microphone, a character, your imagination, and a love of nature (or cute and fuzzy animals at the very least). You will also need access to Discord, Roll20, and D&D Beyond.

What Megan Hardy brings to the table

I will have a D&D Beyond campaign link for character building. I will also send you an invitation to the Roll20 game and the Discord server.
