About the adventure
Fifteen years ago, a star fell from the sky. It struck Drakkenheim like a blade and tore the capital apart. The city was swallowed by ash, mist, and something worse... ā¢Explore whatās left: shattered cathedrals, twisted manors, and streets crawling with monsters ā¢Delerium crystals hum through the wreckage. Wizards, cults, and stranger things want them ā¢The mist is alive. It hides the dead. It changes the living ā¢Factions fight over scraps; fanatics, soldiers, scavengers, and worse. Trust is a luxury Drakkenheim is cursed. And it doesn't let go... [[Beginner & LGBTQIA2S+ Friendly]] -------------------------- š£See what Colleen has to say about my GM'ing: ā"Leland is absolutely amazing for first time players, and does a wonderful job at explaining how to play and is incredibly patient. It's a very comfortable atmosphere to be in and if you have triggers of any sorts Leland is very good at making sure you know that at any point you can voice your discomforts and there is absolutely no judgement. I highly recommend playing with Leland. It's a lot of fun, both in game and the community in general."

About me
Hey everyone, it's me, Leland, aka Leopold the Just in most social media spaces! Iāve been deeply invested in tabletop RPGs since the start of the millennium, and I still love every second of every game I run or play. As a GM, my storytelling focus is on strange events, haunted and horrific places, emotional buy-in and consequences during roleplay, and NPCs you wonāt forget. I run everything from cozy slice-of-life games to bleak horror; sometimes both in the same session. If you love group storytelling and want to play in an immersive world that feels alive, then Iām the right GM for you. -------- What to expect at my table and in my community: ⢠Sessions with a strong narrative focus on character development ⢠Action-packed, descriptive combat that keeps you on the edge of your seat ⢠A living world where NPCs react and evolve based on your choices ⢠Shared storytelling that includes everyone, with collaborative worldbuilding that lets you leave your mark ⢠A chill, inclusive space where everyone is welcome and every identity is valued ⢠Exclusive $5 community one-shots for active members, bringing players from across tables together for fresh stories and shared adventures ⢠Regular community events: video/board game nights, video watch-parties, and a live Kenku FM radio station for downtime between sessions So go ahead and pull up a virtual seat. Letās tell some stories together!

Creating your character
If you'd like to make a character in advance, the parameters are as follows. It must be made on Roll20 OR on DndBeyond + the Beyond20 extension if you're wanting to use the 2024 material exclusively, which is allowed, just not suggested: -Lvl (current campaign level, please ask) -Standard array ability scores -Starting equipment -Max HP at 1st level, average after that (fixed) -a bonus feat based on your background, using this guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ofgtj4c46M7hBe2eAViKh3ssXaXfhMdzZRgEe46Qolc/edit?usp=sharing -All WOTC content available in my roll20 library is available to make a character with, including 3rd party classes, subclasses, races, & spells from: Midgard Worldbook, Rise of the Drow, Chains of Asmodeus, Sebastian Crowe's guide to Drakkenheim, Dungeons of Drakkenheim, Southlands Player's Guide & Worldbook, Creature Codex, Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting Reborn, Deep Magic Vol. 1 & 2, The Beastheart & Monstrous Companions, The Illrigger, Empire of the Ghouls, Tome of Beasts 1, 2, & 3, Tome of Heroes, Flee Mortals, Underworld Player's Guide, Valda's Spire of Secrets, Vault of Magic, Wanderer's Guide to Enchanted Emporiums, Wanderer's Guide to Merchants and Magic, Wastes of Chaos, Where Evil Lives, Book of Ebon Tides, & Xanathar's Lost Notes to Everything Else. 127+ races. 41+ classes. Otherwise, I can personally get with anyone and help them in advance. I'd like to use session 0 to discuss safety, do some collaborative storytelling to establish relationships between PC's, and maybe even get intros to said characters. However, we will make it work!

How Leland House Jr. creates a safe table
I'll have everyone submit lines/veils/interests via DMs, then I will distribute a pdf document for the other players to have on hand or have it as a handout in the VTT of choice. Then we'll go over them during session 0, along with making characters and doing some collaborative storytelling to establish relationships between said characters. I typically post a custom agenda the day before session 0 begins.
