Strawberry Jam (D&D 1-shot)
A fun adventure that encourages characters to work together.
About the adventure
Strawberry Jam is a one-shot adventure created for 1st-level level player characters. Although self-contained and fast-paced, there's room for role-playing and character development as well as combat and problem solving. I have run this adventure before and there is always lots of fun and laughter. Will you be the next hero to get stuck in Strawberry Jam?

About me
Hosted podcasts, won a D&D tournament, and GM'd hundreds of sessions using dozens of different systems. But so what? Yes, I create interesting adventures, talk in funny voices, and orchestrate cinematic fight scenes, but you breathe life into it by joining my games. The best story centers on your character, not my NPCs, the monsters you're killing, nor some plot object you're trying to find. Creating fun, believable universes is my passion, yet it's all just a backdrop for your adventures!

Voices
John really gets into his npc voices. It is so much fun. He knows how the keep the game moving and always has great pictures to show us the fantastic places we travel to. he provides great roleplay prompts in many moments to evoke the emotions of the characters. His passion shows and encourages everyone to bring passion into their character. All hail the Norklings. John specializes in heroics. Whenever I play, I feel heroic. He uses the world and its people to celebrate our victories and to change from our defeats. Basically every session, he starts with "Hello heroes." It's a simple phrase, but I've noticed it brings a joy and excitement to each game. Also, I'm deciding that I will randomly walk up to a stranger and say, "Hello hero." John is a exceptional, extraordinary, illustrious, distinguished, stupendous, exquisite, and incredible GM. All hail the Norklings.
John's a great GM. Would happily play in any game he ran. Gives everyone a opportunity to shine. Overall great world building/ story telling. Have loved every minute in one of Johns games. This is an update of an old review. But I played a game with John that I hadn't played before that I felt totally included in and would still recomend anyone hop inhis game.
Character creation
Creating your character
Please create a 1st level character using the point buy system. Please run it by me if you want to add homebrew elements or are using sources that aren't "official." Please no evil characters, loners, haunted ones, psionics, blood hunters, Ravenloft, fiend/old one warlocks, edgelords, or other horror/spooky characters.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord and microphone are essential. Dice rolling will be done through Discord. You don't need to create a backstory, but I am interested in it if you do.
What John the Norker brings to the table
This is my most popular one-shot. Expect fun voices, fast pacing, and a touch of humor.

Safety
How John the Norker creates a safe table
Expect a somewhat light-hearted adventure with emphasis on roleplaying. My game is generally PG (without the swearing) but any given session may contain depictions of gore, violence, cruelty, and prejudice that may make some players uncomfortable. Player concerns are taken seriously so the fun isn't interrupted.
